Respiratory disease
The lung is the internal organ most vulnerable to infection and injury from the external environment because of its constant exposure to particles, chemicals and infectious organisms in ambient air. Respiratory illness is a common problem and imposes an immense worldwide health burden.
The predominant symptoms of respiratory diseases are cough, shortness of breath, chest pain and hemoptysis (blood in the sputum). when our lung health is impaired we realize nothing else but our breathing is what really matters. That is the painful reality for those suffering from lung disease – a condition that affects people of all ages everywhere in the world.
The top 6 respiratory illnesses and diseases are COPD, Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis, Emphysema, Lung Cancer and Pneumonia. In China, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a widespread disease with 8.6 percent in adult — almost 100 million people suffering from the chronic lung disease which has been the 3rd leading cause of mortality.
According to the Meridian Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), certain illnesses are correlated to certain acupuncture points. When medicine and herb nutrition applied to the acupoint Feishu ( Lung acupuncture point) for instance, pulmonary disease would be cured or improved. Sino Hanfang TTS has been used in China for treatment of respiratory diseases by using TCM. Professor GuangXi Li, the Director of Respiratory Department of Guang Anmen Hospital, lead a team for treatment of Asthma, COPD, Chronic Bronchitis and an rare disease—-Pulmonary alveolar proteinosis. They achieved very satisfied clinic results as bellows.
